I grew up in Wheaton Illinois, just outside of Chicago. I come from a big family, as I am one of seven kids. My parents taught us the importance of faith, integrity, a good work ethic, and to always think about helping others.
One of my first jobs was working with my sister delivering newspapers when I was in the 5th grade. Every morning at 5:15 am, seven days a week, we folded, stuffed, and delivered papers on our bicycles. That paper route turned into four paper routes. We had so many papers to deliver that our Dad had to drive us around in his car because our satchels weren’t big enough to carry all of the papers on our bikes. I worked the paper routes until my family moved my sophomore year of high school. We moved two more times after that, granting me the unique privilege of attending three high schools in four years. I played three sports, and loved them all: football, basketball and baseball.
It’s no secret that I am a man of faith. I believe that God instilled in me a desire to help people in the financial arena. The first book I ever bought (with my own money of course) was, “How to Buy Stocks.” Having made money, saved money and even loaned money at an early age, I knew when I went to college that my major would be geared toward managing money.
In 1991, I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Finance. I immediately started my career with Northwestern Mutual. In 1992, I became an advisor with Vantage Financial Group where the focus was on comprehensive financial planning. In 1994, I moved to Atlanta and joined Peachtree Planning Corporation where I am privileged to hold a Vice President position today. During this time, I also became Senior Partner of Wealth Creation Atlanta, an affiliation of Peachtree Planning.
My Client base is currently spread out amongst the majority of the states. I’ve been recognized as one of the top advisors in the city of Atlanta by “Atlanta Magazine.” I have also won numerous awards within Peachtree Planning and various other financial institutions.
I met my wife Lori in 1996. We married in 1997 in her hometown of Old Towne Alexandria, VA.
By 2003 we felt led to go to Russia and adopt. We have two children, Nicholas and Anika, both from the Vladivostok region. We currently live in Milton and are members of Roswell Community Church where I serve as a Deacon. My family is a priority and I enjoy spending as much time with them as possible. In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf.
My passion: As long as I am able to earn the trust of my clients, I will continue to help educate others by creating financial harmony and simplicity.
